Spinach Rice

Ingredients:

Chopped Spinach - 3 cups
Basmati rice - 3 cups
onions - 1 small, sliced
Water - 4.5 cups
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon Stick - 1
cloves - 6
cardamom - 4
anise flower - 2
bay leaf - 2
cashew nuts - optional
oil - 3 spoons
Ghee - 2 spoons
Salt

Directions:

Heat Rice cooker dish on stove top. add oil and ghee together.
Fry all the dry spices and cashews for 2 minutes, add onions, ginger garlic paste. fry for another 2 minutes. Add chopped spinach cover and cook for 4-5minutes
Add rice and mix well. Remove from stove and place in rice cooker. add water and salt. cover and cook.
