Pappu charu/ lentil soup

Ingrediants:
Kandipappu/toor dal - 1cup- boiled and blended into smooth paste.
Pearl onions or diced onions - 1 cup
Green chillies-2 chopped
Tomato- 1 big, diced
Tamarind juice-1 cup or 1 whole lime juice
Salt
Chilli powder- 1/2tsp
Sugar-1/2 tsp
Butter - 1 tsp
Oil -1tsp
Dry red chilly-1 whole
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Turmeric -1/4 tsp
Curry leaves-4/5 optional
Coriander leaves- 1/4 cup chopped.
Directions:
Heat oil and butter in a deep vessel, add dry chilly,cumin,mustard, turmeric and curry leaves. Add onions, green chillies and tomatos. Cover and fry for 5 minutes. Add tamarind juice (if using lime juice just add water at this point and add lime juice at the end after turning off the heat), chilli powder and salt, bring it to rolling boil. Add coriander leaves, sugar and toor dal paste. Add more water if needed. Boil in low heat for 10minutes.
