Sesame jaggery laddu/nuvvula laddu

Ingredients:
1cup white sesame seeds, toasted.
1cup jaggery , grated .
1/4 cup water.
Directions :
Add water to the jaggery and boil to 1 string consistency. Takes about 10 minutes on medium flame. Add toasted sesame seeds to the syrup.  Mix well. Turn off the heat. Spread on a plate to let cool.  Make small balls. Wet palms frequently so the sweet doesn't stick to palms.

Cucumber finger sandwiches

Ingredients:
white bread 4 slices
Cream cheese  2 tbsp
Cucumber
Chopped jalapeno/green chillies
Directions:
Cut off crusts from bread.
Mix cream cheese and jalapeno.
Peel and thinly slice cucumber.
Spread cucumber slices on paper towels to remove moisture.
Spread cream cheese mixture on bread, add Cucumber slices. Cover with a bread. Slice sandwich into 4 small slices.

Pistachio fluff salad

Ingredients:
1 can crushed pineapple
16oz whip cream
2 packs instant pistachio pudding
10oz mini marshmallows
Maraschino cherries to decorate.
Directions:
Mix pineapple and pudding. Add marshmallows and whip cream,  mix well.
Refrigerate and decorate with cherries before serving.

Pineapple bakeless cake

Ingredients:
Crushed pineapple 1 can
Sweetened condensed milk 1 can
Nilla wafers 1 pack
Sweetened coconut flakes 1/2 cup
Maraschino cherries 1/2 cup drained and rinsed.
Whipped topping  4oz
Directions:
Mix pinapple and condensed milk.
Layer wafers in a flat bottom glass dish.
Spread 1/3 of the pinapple mixture. Repeat layers 2 more times. Spread whipped topping on top , sprinkle coconut and cherries. Refrigerate 1hr.

Glazed banana cake

Ingredients:
Ripe bananas 4
Eggs 2
All purpose flour 3 cups
Sugar 2 cups
Baking soda 1 tsp
Vanilla extract  2tsp
Butter 3/4 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
Directions :
Mash bananas, mix eggs,  sugar, vanilla and butter. Add flour and baking soda. Preheat oven to 350. Pour cake batter into pan, bake for 70 minutes. Let cool completely.
Mix all items from glaze and pour over cooled cake.

Oats badam sunnundalu

Ingredients:
1cup oats
1cup almond flour 
2 cups jaggery powder or sugar
1/4 cup melted  butter
1tbsp cashews
1/2 tsp crushed cardamom
Directions:
Dry roast oats for 5 minutes,  cool and powder the oats.
Fry cashews in  1/2tsp butter.
Add all the ingredients and make them into balls. Makes 20.

Coconut methi rice

Ingredients :
Rice- 3 cups
Ginger grated - 1spoon
Garlic grated - 1spoon
Onion slices - 1/4 cup
Green chillies- 3 chopped
3 Cloves, 1inch cinnamon stick, 2 bay leaf
Oil - 3 tablespoons
1 cup chopped methi leaves
1 cup grated coconut
Salt
Directions:
Heat oil in a heavy bottom dish, add whole spices, onions, chillies, ginger and garlic. Fry for 2 minutes. Add methi,  coconut  cover and cook for another 5 minutes.  Add rice, 6 cups water and salt. Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes. Check rice to see it  cooked soft.
